Teaching in Piano
Sara teaches piano from intermediate to advanced students both online and in person.
She offers graded exams (Trinity College London, ABRSM, GCSE).
In her piano lessons, she focuses on technical aspects, such as posture, finger strength, movements and articulation. Technique will always be taught in relation to existing pieces. In addition to that, she will focus on expression and interpretation, as well as on notions of music theory and aural exercises, as integral part of a performance. According to the level of the students and to their purpose, each lesson will start with a warm-up (depending on the genre, normally scales or aural exercises) and it will be followed up by technique exercises and the performance of the pieces. The last part of the class will be dedicated to the review and assignments.
Teaching in Singing
In your first singing class, Sara will assess your vocal strengths, weaknesses, and range to create a personalised approach to your development. Using the Estill Voice Training method, she will design warm-ups and exercises to improve vocal tone, flexibility, and control, while maintaining healthy singing habits. Lessons are tailored to your preferred musical style, with song choices selected to challenge and inspire you. In addition to vocal technique, Sara provides guidance on stage presence, performance skills, and artist branding, helping students gain confidence and express their individual artistic identity. All lessons prioritise vocal health, supported by her certification as a Vocal Health First Aider, ensuring safe and sustainable singing practices.
Composition & Songwriting Lessons
In her composition and songwriting lessons, the focus will be on theory and structure. Notions of harmony will also be implemented in the class. Compositional techniques and genres will be illustrated as a starting point or as a reference for the students’ pieces.

Testimonials
I have been taking lessons in composition and music theory with Sara for three months now and recommend her as a teacher. Having dabbled in composition a bit for a while, I decided to take up lessons with a teacher without knowing much how composition lessons would look like. It became quickly clear to me that I have a lot to learn and that Sara is well qualified and competent to teach me. We go through harmony, chord progression, melody, the characteristics of different musical genres – Sara is well versed in them all. I enjoy the learning process.

Just five lessons in and I'm already so much more confident and capable on the piano. As a beginner, Sara's ability to hone in on exactly which aspects of technique I need to focus on is precisely what I need. She quickly ascertained my current level and has given me pieces that provide a good amount of challenge but are achievable - which is so satisfying when I can play them. Her lessons are fully rounded and provide me with the tools I need to make good progress (practical techniques, understanding rhythm, music theory etc.). I highly recommend Sara if you want to make good progress.

Supportive, patient, knowledgeable. Sara is aware of the needs of her students and offers very logical techniques and songs to help me match my voice to its potential. I've been to a couple of different singing lessons from different teachers/clubs and this is the first teacher I've seen to show me healthy ways to use my individual voice and leave a lesson without feeling exhausted. The recommended warm ups and physical direction she instructs for particular vocal skills is just what I was looking for in my singing tutorials. I highly recommend her for anyone wanting to level up their vocal skills
