Musical Direction
Sara De Sanctis is a musical director, conductor, and pianist with experience across theatre, choral, and orchestral settings. She has performed as Keys I in Just So and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and as Keys II in Sunday in the Park with George. At Mountview Academy of Arts, she was Assistant Musical Director for Into the Woods, A Little Night Music, and the third-year musical theatre showreel, in addition to directing a project with the postgraduate actors, overseeing rehearsal processes and ensemble performance. She has also worked extensively as a rehearsal pianist and audition pianist, both at Mountview and for external productions, supporting performers in preparation for performances and assessments.
In addition to her work in musical theatre, Sara is Deputy Conductor of the London Community Orchestra in Fleet and has led the Guildford Stoughton Hearts and Voices Choir, conducting a range of repertoire for concerts and community performances. She trained in conducting at the London Conducting Academy and holds a Master’s Degree in Musical Direction from Mountview Academy of Arts.
